Jack Heuer speech

I took a very poor, but interesting video of Jack Heuer's speech on the origins of the Carrera at the Tate Modern last week in London. They announced that this would be Jack Heuer's last visit to the United Kingdom and that he would be retiring in November. He apparently will be spending most of his time in Gstaad during retirement. It is a shame that no one else in the Heuer family seems to be interested in getting involved in watches, but maybe one day another Heuer will join the company.

Jack said that the 50th anniversary Carrera will be the last watch he is involved with designing. He thought that his 80th birthday Carrera would be the last watch in which he would be involved, but that he ended up helping with the 50th anniversary Carrera.
