Yes Mark some great stories that year including the fun and games with Mclaren intercepting calls from Ferrari HQ in Italy to the Watkins Glen circuit in the US that were supposed to grant permission for the Ferrari team to head to Japan early with the McLarens to get some testing in.
There was only 1 phone in the pit lane and Caldwell asked the security guard to give him the nod first if any calls came in.
Whenever it was Ferrari on the phone he kidded on that the Ferrari guys were nowhere to be seen or out golfing etc.
So in the end the Ferrari team assumed that they hadn't been authorised to head off early for Japan and missed the chance of an early flight with the McLarens.
Can't wait for the movie :-)
