The one that got away....

Hello OTD Members....

All this talk about the Orange boy got me thinking....

I'm not sure about anyone else but I have a feeling we have all let one or two get through our fingers at one time or another...

So what about your "Big Fish" story??

For me it was a Rolex 6538, I sold it about 8 years ago for $5000... I made and lost more on this piece then any other in my collection.

I paid $1500.00 for the piece and as mentioned sold it for $5000, so made a nice little profit of around $3500.00, I was pretty happy with myself ;')... until I realized those were selling in excessive of 25,000.00 usd... :'(
