I'm a big fan

I don't generally like anachronistic straps that don't match the period of the watch. For example, I like a plain, non-perf, leather strap for the 50s and early 60s Heuer's because that is what they came on. But the NATO is the exception for me, I think it works pretty well on some Heuers, particularly military Autavias...

This one is my favourite, works beautifully with the heavily faded lume:

It was hard to find an exact match for this one, but I think it looks good on the NATO (excuse the particularly rubbish photo):

This one is a bit more left field, but I think it sort of works (having said that, the watch is now on a standard 22mm black perf leather strap):
