We Do See the Occasional Dashboard Timer with Black Case

We do see the occasional dashboard timer in the black case, with two primary categories -- those issued by the RAF and the non-military ones. This one appears to be non-military, and is the first black-cased Auto-Rallye that I can recall. Dial and hands appear to be standard variety.

Final eBay price around $750 seems right for the standard issue Auto-Rallyes; seems like a bargain for one with the unusual black case. Here'es the link to the eBay auction -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/161051587674

Some of these black-cased guys are very light-weight, perhaps being made of aluminum (or something similar).
