simple and effective. thought it would be cool to have some sort anachronistic bit of technology on the moto for elapsed-timing purposes.

generally this works fine, i only use it to keep track of how long i've been riding...so i push the start button when i set off and that's it.

funcionally that elgin would do the trick. but the size is problematic. i have a wakmann A11 cockpit clock on my desk and it's much too bulky to work on a moto for one and doesnt do elapsed timing for another.
