Re: New acquisition
In Response To: New acquisition ()

: Well I have to share with fellow Heuer
: enthusiats a purchase of a different
: brand,Zenith.
: I have finally been able to add the El Primero
: Rainbow Flyback 405 to the stable.
: It was a toss up between this piece and the 64'
: Carrera. I just could not seem to nail down
: a good Vintage Heuer within the 8 month
: timeframe. Plus the exchange rate is
: absoluting killing any overseas purchases
: this year...
: I'm very impressed so far with this piece. I
: was lucky to find it NOS. The movement
: sounds like a wonderfull freight train with
: an elegant sweep. Bracelet will need to be
: sized but appears very comfortable when I
: tried on.
: It was very tough to find one of these watches
: in captivity to try on. I was fortunate
: enough to wristcheck in Miami,FL. I tried on
: the new Carrera at Tourneau in Palm Beach,Fl
: but it just did not put me away like my 1873
: 64'Re Edition.
: Anyone have one these rascals in their
: collections?
: Regards,Mark
