Friday: Most important watch... this one?

Bernard - I had two Speedies, a February 1969 one with a pile of NASA history (which, like an idiot, I sold) and a 1968 tranny with 861 movement, which I also didn't get on with.

I just bought a 321 from a friend of mine, it was one of the last 321s made (June 1969) and supplied to the NAAFI (set up by the British military to provide entertainment, shops and so on on military bases and on Royal Navy ships for personnel and their families). I was thinking about finding a correct bracelet for it but rather like it on the NATO. It's a lovely watch and I don't know if I just felt an 861 wasn't quite as good in a Speedy as a 321 but after the two 861s I decided I would find a good 321. It really is a lovely watch.
