I agree with you, the gold plated Heuers are really underated. That Carrera is excellent, and probably cost you 10 or 15 percent the cost of an 1158! I love the bracelet as well, I agree it really completes the vintage era look. Love the story around it.

Here is one of my favourite gold plated Heuers, also with a separately sourced but chronologically correct gold plated bracelet, that took me a long time to find. I might have bought it from Squinty actually, I can't remember....
