Insurance valuation *PIC*

I've owned a Heuer 735.508 for almost 20 years. This was a limited edition (150 made) moon phase watch made in 1985 to mark the company's 125th anniversary. My problem for years has been getting a resonable idea of its value for insurance purposes. The appraisers I've spoken with have been no help either because they don't really know watches or because its a limited edition and there is little information available. A related issue is verifying its authenticity. I bought it Hong Kong from what I think was a reputable jeweler - but one can never be too sure in HK!

FWIW, the attached are images from the 1985 Anniversary Collection.

Any feedback would be appreciated. BTW, Chuck Maddox was a big help in getting me started down the right path.
