I consider the v.72/l.1873 Carrera's as "full dress" Speedmasters. Many of the same quality attributes, but I feel the Carrera makes a better dressy watch.

As far as I know parts for the re-edition are in good supply. Enjoy the Carrera a little before you worry about making her mint!
