Anyone Remember the Beige Carrera ?

My theory on this was that the Carrera was never produced with a beige dial, I know it was the 70's but really.

There is a Camaro on ebay at the moment with a similar coloured dial, which looks like fading of a silver dial. mine went the same colour after water damage, cue long search for replacement dial.

Ideas/Opinions would Heuer really have produced a beige dial chrono ?
