I have not looked close at the dial, But I know for a fact that meny watch cases had 2 backs with the inside one being glass back. I have a few myself , and 2 of them came froma old store I worked at and had the call tags on them from the 1940s I will be interested in knowing what the rest of the crew has to say about this
