Measuring the accuracy of Heuer watches

Hello,

As probably a lot of people here, I am a bit of a maniac when it comes to the accuracy of my watch. At first, I used to measure the accuracy of my watch with a pen and a paper. I would synchronize my watch using the atomic clock, and see how my watch has been doing since the synchronization a few days later. This was fairly accurate but not convenient at all. I had to remember when I did the first synchronization then do the maths. If I'd lost my post-it I had to start again. Too bad !

I started then using an Excel spreadsheet to automatize the maths and simplify the whole process. The results were better and I started sharing this spreadsheet with my father and a couple of friends. I realized I wasn't alone with my sickness of "is my watch accurate or not" ! Then the idea of sharing this tool with more people came to my mind. It should be available online for anyone. And this is how https://Toolwatch.io was born ! With two friends also passionate about watches, we started building Toolwatch as a side project.

We launched it a few weeks ago and saw a lot of measures being done thanks to a great word of mouth. Today we are releasing a new version based on the feedback we gathered from our users and I would like to share it with you, true watchmaking enthusiasts, like me !

Toolwatch is totally free to use, I would be very happy to see you there and answer any of your questions here on our social channels ! You would also be happy to learn that Heuer is in our top 10 of most tested brand. We're glad to see that Heuer owners are true watch passionate and it's not surprising knowing the watches.

Have a great day and thanks for helping me share our passion for mechanical watches !

Marc
