Auctionata AMI ??? Surely not *PIC*

Hi
I've posted here quite a few years ago, but not recently. Thought this worthy of discussion
As a Lemania collector (primarily) I was browsing the results of the Auctionata recent sale (it seems tales of their demise were a little exaggerated). there were a few Lemanias of varying quality in that sale.

I came across their Heuer AMI proptotype listing

The URL is

https://auctionata.com/en/o/289039/heuer-ami-chronograph-switzerland-1980s

(sorry, I have no idea how to embed a link on this somehwat antiquated forum interface - sorry Jeff, but it is)

Firstly, I am amazed this made it into a respectable sale
Secondly, it sold. Really????
And what is more, it sold for more than the parts bin total for the bits that have been assembled into this "prototype"
Lastly, looking at a few forums, I couldn't believe I didn't find any posts calling it out.

Surely this is a fictional franken.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but surely??
Dave
