Something went seriously wrong. I was able to view the auction through Invaluable but my bidding, which had been approved a week ago was suddenly revoked.
I watched the auction for around an hour and only saw 4 Internet bids in that time. Everything sold low:
Heuer Autavia 1163: Estimate 4,500 CHF, sold 2,000 CHF
Heuer Calculator: Estimate 4,500 CHF, sold 2,200 CHF
Heuer Montreal: Estimate 2,500 CHF, sold 1,600 CHF
Heuer Carrera 2447: Estimate 7,500 CHF, sold 5,500 CHF
Heuer Autavia 3646: Estimate 55,000 CHF, sold 38,000 CHF
Biggest fail of the auction was a Rolex 5512 with Explorer dial. These have previously sold in the $200,000 range.
The one at Antiquorum sold for 67,000 CHF.......
