Autavia back from the depths of a dark drawer

Thought I'd share the work carried out by a UK watchmaker Simon Freese ( formerly of STS - Omega UK) in rejuvenating my 2446C GMT. The starting point was as follows, after close on 30 years in a dark drawer

The watch was not running so I asked Simon to investigate, provide a full movement strip down and service, polish the plexiglass and clean the case. He kindly provided a few "in progress" shots.

It has just returned to me today so I've matched it with a Hirsh Andy strap and am pretty delighted with the results
