Carrera 1158 - gold plated pushers ?

Hello everyone,

I am being offered a 1158 which looks in reasonable condition but the pushers are gold plated rather than solid gold. Would that suggest a fake? Any thoughts ? Thanks.

Have not bought from this dealer before so being careful. any thoughts you can offer would be fantastic.
