Problem with Speedmaster Date...

I noticed a small mechanical (I think) problem with my Speedmaster Date (3513.50.00).

I set the watch and I made sure that the sub seconds was stopped at 60 and I aligned the minute hand exactly on the correct minute making sure I removed any 'slack' from the crown, I then proceed to push the crown back to pos. 1 and I double checked the minute hand was centered over the indice, now around 72 hours later when I stop the watch with the sub seconds at 60 the minute hand is half-way between indices, anyone else have this problem?

I wore the watch and I know for a fact it didn't stop. I came to the hypothesis that there was some unusual friction slowing down the minute hand and not effecting the sub seconds. Can anyone give me some insight on what I should do?
