Hi Glenn,

Vintage de Ville's really aren't my area, but it could well be real. I've seen plenty of de Villes marked as so.

Here's a link to some brief Info on the Omega website

& here's an example of some watches marked with de Ville on the dial.

Do you have anyway of posting a picture ( or you can E-mail me one ).

We may be lucky & it may be in one of the catalogues that I have.

Do you have a local watchmaker ? you could ask him to open here up for you & he'd be able to tell you pretty quickly if it's a real Omega movement in there or not.
