How long do you keep the watches moving on the winder? Your winder is not made to run all day, an Omega watch only needs from 4 to 6 hours to wind from empty to full on a 4rpm winder and you don't have to wind them every day. To properly wind the watch and check the power reserve at the same time, let it run down, put it on the winder and wind it for 4 to 6 hours (what kind of watch do you have?) and let it sit face up 24 hours then face down until it stops. It should run for at least the number of hours indicated as power reserve. Lets say you have a co-axial, it should run 44 hours without any winding. If you want to keep it running all the time, put it back on the winder after 44 hours and wind it again for 4 hours 10 minutes.
Hope this helps and you haven't returned the winder yet.
