If you're going to be swimming in the ocean, you REALLY don't want to be wearing your Speedy, because if you get salt water instead of chlorinated pool water in the watch, the insides will corrode for sure. I had an old Speedy Mk II that I swam with in fresh water, but I wasn't the most knowledgable Omega owner at the time, and I did wind up with condensation under the crystal at some point in the watch's 20 year ride on my wrist. Looks to me like you might need a SECOND Omega for wearing under more adverse conditions. (;>) If you want a really tough watch, check out the Titanium Seamasters, like the 2293.50.
