Speedy DayDate (3523.30.00) Vs PO (2201.51.00)

HELP me choose my first Omega!

I hesitate between:
- Planet Ocean 42mm with black bezel & orange numbers
- Speedmaster DayDate silver dial

I have thin wrists and plan to wear it everyday with a suit. Here are my findings:

1. DESIGN
Actually I like the classic Speedy design a lot although the PO has a more modern look.

At the same time I do enjoy the PO's curved bracelet a lot and appreciate it's diving references.

2. CALIBER
The PO has a co-axial caliber in which I'm very much interested. This is in fact what makes me thinking about getting the PO, because for me, it does not make sense to throw $1500+ in a watch that holds an ETA based caliber like any other mechanical watch. Am I wrong? Are Omega calibers extensively reworked?

I want co-axial but I've read that Omega has withdrawn it's initial recommendation concerning the service interval of co-axial's, and I believe the reason is that they found something, that made them revise their forecasts. So that means that:

- either the co-axial caliber does not make the watch more durable than any other caliber,

- either Omega's application of the co-axial escapement is not yet mature enough to take advantage of the new design.

Since I joined this forum I've read several issues about some other calibers... maybe co-axial calibers are a bit too "young" to get significant feeback. Anyway I would not like to have any problem with mine in the future!

3. PRICE
The Speedy is significantly cheaper than the PO (1370€ Vs 2150€).

What do you think? What would you do?
Thanks in advance for your advices.
