1991 Seamaster

I bought a 1991 model Seamaster in 1992 (with the cushion bracelet)second hand. I have worn it almost constantly since for 14 years and it's looking pretty ropey now. It's had 3 services through proper technicians, new hands, been overhauled after a water accident and survived an impact after I was knocked off my bike (it probably saved my wrist but left a nasty deep scar on a few links). It now regularly runs slow by around 1 to 2 minutes per week, the dial has now lost it's matt finish when inspected closely (probably from the water incident 2 years ago) and the luminous hands have grown a black substance on them. The bezel has been through the wars. Add to this the bracelet is starting to wear with various holes turning ovoid(I can't find a replacement bracelet anywhere - not even on Omegas site). What do I do here? Spend around £400 getting a complete overhaul of the whole watch, or leave it. To be honest I can live with everything but the missing minutes. I have been told some of the early movements in this model of watch suffered from timekeeping problems. Sad as it sounds I love the watch and it's been everywhere with me on 4 continents but I fear it's reaching the end of it's life. It's had 14 years hard labour with as much care as I can give it. Is it time to move on? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. When I took it to a watch repairer near my parents he told me not to bother and offered me £50 for it. I'll never sell it but don't want it sitting in a drawer once it finally gives up.
