: Absolutely not. I would never buy online, since
: these dealers are gray market dealers who
: don't provide you with an Omega factory
: warranty. Others may disagree, but I would
: never encourage anyone to buy a watch from
: an online gray market dealer. Authorized
: Omega dealers are not allowed to sell
: watches directly over the internet.

I thought long and hard about buying my 2551.80 Seamaster Auto from a high street shop. Then I found a place online where I got the same watch for £250 (~€370, $485) below list price. I bought it and it arrived within 48 hours of ordering with all the official Omega boxes, warranty, picto card and chrono certificate.

I was very anxious about this decision, but it appears to have paid dividends. It's definitely a risk.
