: It's a shame that this problem didn't occur
: sooner while the watch was still under
: warranty. I experienced similar problems
: with two of my Omegas (one was a Seamaster),
: but they were noticed within the first few
: months of ownership. In both cases, Omega
: simply gave the watch a complete servicing,
: which is what you'll be paying for when you
: send the watch in. Fortunately, the
: servicing did correct the problem in both
: cases, so I would expect your watch to come
: back working fine. The bad news for me is
: that I never found out exactly what caused
: my problems.
: A full servicing on a Seamaster costs about
: $300 from Omega. However, since your watch
: is not under warranty, you can let any
: competent local watchmaker work on your
: watch without worrying about voiding the
: warranty.
