Such a bracelet must be hard to find. So if it is the correct one for the watch and I had an heirloom like yours (and I could afford it), I would pay $1,500, but I'd try to beat the seller down first!

I wonder if the watch is "1960-1970s": the good Genèves finished in 1961, I believe, and after that they became "entry-level" Omegas and, as such, would not (I would have thought) have been made in 18ct gold. Is your watch an earlier Genève? If the case is not 18ct gold, then why not go for a plated bracelet? You should be able to get one from Omega, but I very much doubt if they will still have an 18ct gold bracelet from those times. But what is wrong with a good-looking leather strap?

Derek

PS I may well be wrong about post-1961 Genèves not being made in 18ct gold - I think perhaps I have seen one in the past!
