Re: PO Chrono reliability and alternatives

Charlie: One word of advice - Hong Kong and the surrounding APAC region is gray market heaven for dealers who may be selling gray market watches, (and that's if you're lucky enough to find a NEW Omega), and they can be used, stolen, pawned, fakes, and God only knows what else. Unless you live in Hong Kong or regularly go there so you can personally make a dealer's life miserable if he tries to cheat you, you're REALLY gambling with your money. There is an AD in D.C. that everybody here knows about who is totally reliable, ships to US addresses, and discounts 30% on Omegas, and has a pretty big inventory.

As others have pointed out, there seems to be a big price discrepancy between one of these watches, and with Omegas in faraway locations, if it looks to good to be true, then it almost ALWAYS is.

Watch you six on this watch purchase!!!
