There are a couple of UK alternatives
In Response To: Re: Omega 2.4M Megaquartz ()

Hi Philip,

I know of 3 places in the UK that you could try/ask.

( no implied sequence here )

1, Keith Tilley :- Keith's website - Although Keith specializes in f300's , it's worth giving him a try. - Keith has done one of my f300's & I'm very happy with the service, speed & price.

2, West Repairs :- West repairs website - Again I've used Richards services & was very happy with the results.

3, Swiss Time Services - Swiss Time Services Website - I have never used these guys, but read a lot of positive reports about their work.

As David suggested, Omega in Switzerland is also an alternative. It's probably the most expensive & will take the longest, BUT the results will be staggering, the watch will come back looking like new, with a 2 year Omega guarantee & you can also ask them for a "Certificate of Autheticity". I've used this service & was more than happy with the results.

I think you need to decide first what the target is. to get a "New" watch back, or just to get the watch running as it should.

I hope this helps.

Steve
