I finally figured out that the reason I kept getting denied to post here is that I was using the wrong user name! DOH!
At any rate, just received this amazing late 50s cal 505 seamaster chronometre in yellow gold with the original dial.
I have a correct crown on order for this beauty. Now I'm just trying to determine if the hands are correct or if instead they should be plain gold dauphine without the luminous material.
Also, I haven't previously seen a case number above the reference and hallmarks like this one has:
