I bought a Speedmaster date, model number 3513.50.00 which was replaced in 2007 by version 3210.50.00. I have bought the watch new from an Omega autorised dealer here in Italy for EU 1500,00 (list price EU 1700,00) and according to the Swatch Group in Germany, my watch was manufactured in 2003. I changed the metal strap for an official Omega leather strap with tang buckle.
Difference between new and old model is the dept rating for the new model is 100 meters instead of 30 meters and it is Chronograph certified.
I have 7 days to return my watch to the dealer to exchange it (my right as a consumer), would you advise exchanging it for the newer version (priced at EU 1850,00 discounted)or keep the older version ?
I have noticed on my watch that the chronometer hand does not sit flush on 12:00 but instead sits on 12:03, I have used the chronometer twice.
