1960's Connie's...."Proper" strap pins?

Hi all......anyone else notice on the 1960's Connie's (and older, perhaps?) the holes for the watch straps are almost twice as large as on current watches? I can't help but wonder if there is a source for a better fitting watch pin on these, or if Omega still stocks a replacement that will fill the hole better?

I change pins all the time at work, but my supplier has only the current "thin" and "standard" widths......still a far cry from a full fit in these large holes.

Anyone know a source?
