Re: Which is Better?
In Response To: Which is Better? ()

: I have been wondering for a while which company
: is better Rolex or Omega. Especially the
: Seamaster and the Seadweller. I would like
: to hear anyone's opinion. Thanx

I like the submariner's look but after having an Armitron 100m watch that looked 99% identical, I put all of my money on the Seamaster for my own following reasons:

1)Very multi-purpose and stands up to daily routines

2)Distinctive look, but is not copying anything (or is copied by anyone else)

3)No one knows an Omega is the high end quality watch that it is and people dont tend to stare or take notice to your watch aside from a compliment or two.

4)Better looking clasp and bracelet outdoes the submariner in everyway

5)Smoother and sleeker looking

6)More comfortable on the wrist and wallet

7)And of course, Bond...James Bond (although both the submariner and Seamaster have been Bond's watches)

Both are very high quality watches, but the Omega wins for me due to the unique looks and more vague reputation that precedes them. It makes for a more enjoyable wearing experience altogether. If I buy another high end watch, it will only be an Omega.
