Be sure the diver's extension is closed properly..

I had the same problem until I read on this website about the proper way of closing the diver's extension. If the end of the diver's extension is not tucked UNDER the small cross pin, the clasp will then not close completely. It will then open when it isn't supposed to open.

Check the trouble shooting section on the Chronocentric website and you will see a picture that shows what a properly closed diver's extension looks like.
