Re: Decisions...Decisions...

: I am going to purchase my first Seamaster in
: the coming days and cannot decide between
: the 2531.80 ("Bond") and the
: 2054.50 (Black dial/black bezel). I like
: them both but, unfortunately, will only be
: able to purchase one. The Bond seems almost
: too popular but I really like it. The black
: looks really cool too but is almost a little
: TOO much black.
: This will open up a can of worms, I know...But
: any advantages to either one? Dressier?
: Sportier? I'd appreciate any comments.

: PS-GREAT website and Forum - it has definitely
: given me the info to make an informed
: decision and educated me on the watches
: themselves. BTW - I will purchase through an
: auth. dealer. Found one who will give me 35%
: with full Omega warranty.

: Thanks!
IMO I would go with the black. IMO black looks more dressier IMO cases. If you are looking for a dressier watch I would go with the black but if if you already have a dress watch and are just looking for a sporty watch then go with the Bond watch. I also prefer the markers on the black seamaster more. Ultimately the decision is up to you.
