Grèetings! First, I am a neophyte, having been gifted with a 11063GMT that has mostly sat in the drawer of the previous owner.
I have sent it to be serviced and it was stated to need a movement overhaul and main spring. Is this expected from a watch that sat unused for most of its life?
The watchmaker has stated that the stampings say Heuer Leonidas Switzerland Cal 14 SX. This is not the same as stampings on other movements I've seen on this model, those including Seventeen 17 Jewels and no SX.
What are we looking at here?
Thanks for your assistance!
