Today is the start of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations which will continue through the weekend, Monday and Tuesday which are holidays for us lucky ones here in the UK. Events are planned throughout the country and in our little corner of Kent we were treated to an air show that included the Red Arrows display team. It was a real treat to witness and all this pageant and partying is testament to what makes Britain great. There are plenty of whinges in this country but at times like these their gripes and moans are silenced.
