I finally had a chance to speak with my friend today (he's a bit difficult to reach as he goes for extended motorcycle rides). I shared with him the feedback I have received and told him I had to pay more for his watch than previously agreed. He accepted, but only a bit more, he told me he was happy that I'd be wearing it. The Siffert is mine!
I'll get a restoration plan started and begin looking for a strap. This baby's gonna be worn regularly!
