I'm not watching live, but from the Christie's website it seems that three of the Heuers sold and two failed to sell.
The successful ones:
-- Lot 4 -- "Motor Age" Autavia, Ref 3646, with provenance from the Atlanta 500 stock car race -- sold at $47,500 (final price)
-- Lot 12 -- Franken Autavia . . . sold at $17,500 (final price) . . . probably more than the value of the parts
-- Lot 13 -- Carrera Ref 2447 NT . . . sold at $43,750 (final price) . . . let the good times roll, for the early Carreras.
The failures:
-- Lot 11 -- Autavia Ref 3646 with Tachy scale on dial
-- Lot 14 -- Autavia Ref 2446, "Big Subs"
Looking forward to some commentary on these results.
Jeff
