Re: Chemical Reaction of SS Heuers with Sun Lotion

: Be aware of the fact that Sun Lotion of company
: Vichy showed reaction with SS metal from
: Heuers. As I saw first a sort of red colord
: cream I thought I hurt myself during
: yachting: but it turned out that this was
: not the case. I played with the Sun Lotions
: than and it react slightly with the metal to
: result in a red colored creamy thing.

: I tested 3 different products of Vichy: ALL the
: same habbit.

: Cleaning up is a drwaback too as essence gets
: very sticky in about 2-3 days.

: Any other alchemistic experience with your
: watch?

Wow thanks for the new info on that.
I have some food for thought.
Was the watch just serviced and or any case work done as in a light polish ect?
I ask because as we sweat sometimes I have seen this but its red ruge from a polish cloth and or a case that had been re finished and not every thing was cleaned out of the opening groves ect.
Thanks for the Alert
Peter
