This is indeed sad news for all of us on the Discussion Forum.

In a sense, we are strangers -- we do not really know each other; we do not know the details of each others' lives or even what other members look like.

Still, we share a common interest and passion, and enjoy each other on a daily basis. personalities emerge through the messages and photos, and we do begin to know each other, at least on a certain level.

as it is enjoyable to share in this community of strangers, who are friends, it is sad when one of us has departed. in the same way that the community becomes a source of joy, so it becomes -- on occasion -- a source of sadness.
