Carrera 12 Dato -- Refinished Dial ? ? ?

Earlier today, Robertus asked what seemed to be a simple question about the width of the lugs on a chronograph that appeared to be a Heuer Carrera 12 Dato. A few hours later, I believe that we have discovered an expensive watch, with what may be a refinished dial. In the process, we have created a simple recognition guide that may help our readers identify the genuine Carrera 12 Datos, along with some of the the "poor man's" versions. See our new page that provides an Carrera 12 Dato -- Recognition Guide.

Thanks to Robertus for pointing out this watch.

I should add that certain of the information presented on this new page is subject to further confirmation.
