We Will Ask Bill for Forensic Report
In Response To: Re: Seems Incredible ()

Bill Mahoney has undertaken to repair / restore, so we will ask him for forensic report.

Previous owner had sister who worked for Heuer in the early 1970's . . . she bought him this Monaco, with benefit of an employee discount . . . he never was comfortable wearing this big, square watch, so it sat in the box for many years. Having spoken with the previous owner, this all seems credible. Yet another hazard of buying the "time capsule" watches, but we'll continue to take our chances!!

We will await the report from Bill, to learn whether this might have caused the spring to get "sprung" or otherwsie disintegrate.
