As a relative newcomer to the site this is indeed sad news. I only had a few brief exchanges with him, but held him in very high regard. It's a pity I won't come to know him as a friend as many of you have, but it's so nice to see all the messages and the forum has certainly lost a big part of it's enthusiasm, knowledge and humour.
