Barack Obama may have one Tag Heuer watch, but he has 5 Obama for President Watches from Obama Watches (www/obamawatches.com). In July, I was asked to give them to Senator Obama by the Democratic National Committee. When I offered them to Barack Obama at a fundraiser in Philadelphia, a Secret Service agent took them out of my hands and whisked them away to another room. After inspecting the Obama watches, the Secret Service agent said they would be given to the Democratic Party, then loaned to Senator Obama and family because of the government provision against accepting gifts of monetary value.

Three of the Obama watches that President-elect Obama has are also in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution.
