Yes, there are two variations on the tachy scale for these (and the later manuals) :

- Small text and a tachy scale from 500 to 60, with the word "Tachy" at 1 o'clock

and

- Larger text and a tachy scale from 200 to 50, with the word "Tachy" at 3 o'clock

Both are correct.

I've seen a few of both types where the watch has gone for either servicing or restoration and the watchmaker hasn't realised that the 1 or 3 o'clock positions were right and has repositioned the scale so that the word "Tachy" sits at 12. It looks kind of awkward for the small text index ring but absolutely horrible for the large text version like yours!
