Holiday project

I received a beaten up big Heuer early quartz diver (980.006) just before the holidays. It was not running and looked a little tired. The plan was to get it runnning and pimp it up with custom hands from MKII watches.

The crystal was bad scratched, and the bezel was stuck, it had loads of dirt inside.

Bezel goo....

After some TLC the movement was running again :-) Then I put on the new custom hands, and a new crystal.... and I had a new very cool beater. This early Heuer divers are very nice watches. They are big, about same size as a Autavia 1163.

The finished watch.

Together with my Autavia 1163.

Happy holidays!
Cheers Jarl
