Very interesting. I am glad that you were able to interview The Master on the subject.
One question: I assume that the scraping is entirely mechanical (using something with a very fine edge / point), and that no chemicals are used. Is this correct? Interesting that the scraped / refreshed lume is such a nice match with the lume on the new hands, and now they can begin to age together, with matching patina all along the way.
