Re: What a day
In Response To: What a day ()

Not quite as impressive historically, but October 8th is also the birthday of the actess Kristanna Loken from the abysmal Terminator 3. Not sure what watch she wears, and not sure if the question would be at the forefront of my thoughts if we ever met, but just thought I'd mention it.

: Today is a day that historians will remember forever. While it
: doesn't quite match Jeff's undeniable connection to James Dean,
: it may come close.

: October 8, 1871: The Great Chicago Fire
: October 8, 1943: Chevy Chase was born
: October 8, 1967: Che Guevara was defeated
: October 8, 2009: Emma's watch now reads October 8. That's right. I
: had the honor of correcting the watch of Jeff's daughter to read
: the correct date. No longer will Emma be stuck on Wednesday when
: it is really Thursday. No longer will Emma think that it is
: September 31st. Emma's sanity is saved. Oh what a night.

: P.S. In case you were wondering... it's a Raymond Weil RW Spirit.
