Same for Autavias
In Response To: Just Monaco? ()

I have definitely seen some legitimate Cal 15 Autavias, with good history, residing in the Cal 12 Autavia cases.

As Heuer was in this "austerity" mode, we must imagine that ordering new cases for the Cal 15 models might have been viewed as a cost that could easily be avoided.

: Interesting. Is it only the Cal. 15 Monaco that often comes with a
: Cal. 12 case? I have looked at 5-6 different Carrera 1553
: models- all of which had the "correct" Cal. 15 code
: between the lugs...never seen a 1553 Carrera with a 1153 case-
: has anyone?

: Do we see Autavia and Carrera Cal 15 with the "wrong"
: case, or is this a case of the unpopular Monaco being the only
: model with a bunch of cases left over from the Cal. 11/ 12
: production run?
